I am so sad about the passing of my mother-in-law, Delpha. Even though I never considered us to be especially close, I have always loved the woman who did such an incredible job bringing up the child, and later the man, I would fall in love with and marry. I am so grateful to her for her diligence in teaching the gospel to him and his brothers and sisters. She taught him to respect women. She also taught him how a man should treat his wife. I will be eternally grateful to her for her love and faithfulness, and for her example. I know she loved me as she loved every member of her family--immediate family members and dozens of cousin, nieces, nephews and in-laws. I feel so sad to know that she is not here. I am so sorry for the suffering she had to endure in her last weeks of life. I am so grateful that we had many visits to her and Grandpa in the last few months. I will miss her forever, and am already looking forward to seeing her again on that great day when we will all be together again.
