10 weeks, going strong!

Today marks 10 weeks on my running program. I have only missed one day, the day of the BIG WIND, when we had no electricity and were homebound for 2 days trying to dodge all the flying stuff outside. I feel that I have somewhat of a compulsion to get out there every day, which is good. I have also met another goal, which was to train my wonder-dog, Sunny, to run with me. She does pretty well--I give her about 90% cooperation rate. She still knocks into my feet occasionally, but so far neither of us has gone down.
I am feeling great but the best part is leaving all the guilt behind. It's super hard to get out there day in and day out, but once I do, I have the rest of the day to feel good about taking care of my body and getting in shape. That's much better than going through the day badgering myself over what I should and shouldn't be doing. It's very liberating.
I'm planning on running a couple more 5Ks, and then even trying a 10K, but we'll see how it goes. Right now I'm just feeling good accomplishing 30 min. a day. So, onward and upward!
